Hiatus and Update
January 2, 2009
I am taking a break from posting for a little while. I’m very busy trying to get all my 2009 projects set-up and I have several shoots in the works. Don’t worry, I’ll be posting shiny new pictures soon enough.
Travel plans include Florida in two weeks, Mexico next month, and then LA afterwards. I’m also doing some fun skiing and heading down to NYC, so if you would like to piggyback any assignments please let me know.
Oh and I’m going to the Obama Inauguration with a couple million of my drunken Democrat friends. Hopefully they won’t discover that I’m a spy for the opposition. I’ll be sure to mention your name for a federal appointment when I’m twirling Michelle around the dance floor. Now where did I put that cummerbund?

If you are a model, please note that I am no longer doing free testing unless it’s casting for a job or you’re so breathtakingly beautiful that I’ve asked you to shoot. Otherwise I’m offering reasonable rates. If you’re a lurking photographer and not one of those precious ad-editorial-corporate client types, consider buying some prints, also at reasonable rates. A few hundred bucks will buy you some great collectible photographs.
For you merely curious geeks, I am spending more time shooting with the 35mm Hexar AF and a vintage 6x6 Rolleicord Va these days… I am back to shooting like a photo student with relatively modest gear (but with giant goals.) Look for more diversity of subjects and technique this year — I’m very happy with my current portfolio — and will keep shooting 4x5 and digital too — but I think regular revolutions are healthy for both photographers and societies.
If you’re one of my new friends from my mad New Year’s Facebook friendship campaign, I hope you enjoy my “slightly” NSFW website. Be careful now.
Finally, I removed my recent postings of various holiday photos, which messes up the date line of my December posts. If you still want to see photos of my kids and snow and general cuteness, I have a private Blogger site for that and all you have to do is ask for the URL. Eventually I’ll do a serious commercial portfolio of kiddie phots but I’ll need to do a bunch more before it is ready for prime-time.
