That’s Ashley, from my second shoot in North Carolina. I have a ton of new pictures to work up… as if I was on top of things beforehand.
Heading home now — I picked Martha up at Penland and she had a wonderful time at her textile maps class. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen her this relaxed — while also being totally stoked about her art. She was so mellowed out that she even got lit up tonight, whilst I am taking it easy after a week of overindulgence.
Thanks to Lauren and Sandra I now speak with a slight drawl. Or maybe that is a side effect of caffeine poisoning, as I started to vibrate after running up a 48 hour period on only three hours of sleep. But I got a lot of great stuff, hung out with some interesting folks, and now it is home via Knoxville. Swinging through Athens, Ohio to check on my boy, then spending the rest of week puttering on my pictures and shooting a star on Friday.
