…Made during this evening’s long drive home from Maryland… and boy was it ever hot and hazy. And romantic and pretty with good music and my temporary road tripping cigarette habit. I was hoping to shoot later but that didn’t happen, so I came straight home and am left wide awake at dawn, wired from caffeine and energy drinks.
From a boat launch off Route 15.
Das loyal 2000 Nissan Xterra, with only 192,000 miles. I really want a Volvo like my wife but… this car has been so good to me that I should do the smart thing and just get another. But not until this one is truly and utterly dead.

Next Morning: just dropped Olivia off at pre-school and rode down the Post Office (30 minute mountain bike) so I am all soaked cause it is 90/90 outside. I was feeling all sore and RA-like in Maryland, but now I am… lubed! Gotta design a couple of things, pick up and do business… but I have so many excellent photos of Uber Alice/Cristina from Dallas I really want to be playing in Photoshop.
So, in spite of not being a chemical speed freak, I still have been averaging only four hours of sleep per night. But I’m not being very productive with all my extra “up” time. Gotta do something to change that…
