As a photographer, I’m slightly addicted to tiny-stretchy-tight-metallic lamé items from American Apparel. They photograph beautifully, especially in B&W. Never mind that actually wearing such items in public automagically transforms a sweet wholesome farm girl into a glimmering beacon of slutdom. It’s the photographic representation that’s important. And a size 0-2 pair of glimmering silver tights is as much a photographic tool as my light stands and A-clamps.
Today I played with Olivia and Martha using sleds and X-C skis, baked Orange Chocolate and Cherry Oatmeal cookies, and populated my quiet little myspace pages with a few hundred old photos of friends and family. I used to play football a little bit but I could care less about watching the Superbowl. I will try to catch some of the commercials — I have a keen eye for the howlers. Remember, it was a local Rochester ad agency (a former client, now defunct) that made a million-dollar Superbowl commercial so bad that they got sued for incompetence…. So don’t miss Adfreak’s Monday morning re-cap and analysis.

OMG, a totally racist “funny Asian” ad by Sales Genie — what a way to piss off 20-30% of your potential customer base. The “Heart” by Career Builder and the “Napoleon” by Garmin were the best. Although the puking baby E-Trade ad was cute. Still… you can tell the ad world is run by wiseass frat boys who way, way oversell… their clients.

You're right, those Sales Genie ads were disgusting.

I like the lame` effect in the subtle lighting. The hair, mask and dress are almost continuous. Keeping the arms up emphisize the continuity.
Super bowl adds mostly sucked this year. I was very disappointed.

This question betrays the fact that I am a Philistine. Who was the half-time band at the superbowl this year and were they any good?
